Our Review

Situated right on the Grassmarket, in a lively area packed with bars and restaurants, the Apex International is close to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. It’s best suited for those who enjoy vibrant surroundings, as it can be noisy. The rooms are stylish and the top-floor restaurant is celebrated for its great Castle views. There’s also a gym and pool and if you’re on business you can take advantage of the hotel’s WIFI.

The Hotel houses 175 guest rooms designed to provide comfort and chic style. Superior and Executive rooms face the Castle whereas standard rooms face a courtyard. The rooms feature purple carpeted floors and white coloured walls. They are furnished with modern furniture in cream and pastel colours. The bathrooms are small and feature marble white floors and white tiled walls, bath and separate power shower. All the guest rooms have double glazed windows, a lounge area, data ports, tea & coffee-making facilities as well as a choice of pillows. Superior room also have a personal safe big enough for a laptop. Triple rooms are available but please note that they have two double beds, 3 separate beds are not available.

     room was a nice size with large comfortable single beds. ...             Very comfy beds...              modern and impeccably clean. ...              although the back rooms are quieter they overlook an area were people smoke and drink ...             room was very clean and very warm ...             rooms at the front of the hotel were noisy at night....             very clean and contempary....             noise from outside dreadful...             Beds were fab...             .Lovely rooms....              our room could have been doing with just a little TLC....             the room had no air conditioning ...             rooms were very comfortable and so clean ...             bathroom facilities excellent. ...             Comfortable room and much quieter than expected ...             The bathroom though functional had badly stained grout around the bath ...
