Our Review

The Frederick House Hotel offers a lovely combination of a handsome Georgian façade and a cosy, homely interior. It’s a very affordable property, yet being housed in such a traditional building it is able to offer good-sized rooms with high ceilings. Many guests appreciate being able to cross the road first thing each morning to enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast in the very chic Rick’s Restaurant.

Room was clean and modern, bathroom spotless. ... clean, quiet ... not to noisy.... Excellent room with updated decor... clean, spacious... clean comfortable room... Room was very spacious, clean and quiet ... had the heating on in are room when we checked in which was great... more comfortable than we had expected.... Rooms are adquate for the price... Room was a little tired looking but no complaints... It was clean, comfortable... shame about the outlook from room at rear of the building ... Bedrooms were absolutely fine.... Cleanliness was 4-5 because the net curtains on the windows were in need of wash.... Lovely comfortable room...
